The review presents the book by E. I. Yakushkina about Serbian folk culture and its relationships with the Serbian language. The monograph studies the dominant vocabulary relevant for understanding the traditional Serbian culture with its derivatives: the formation of meaning, semantics and semantic reconstruction of some Serbian lexemes and lexical groups which express Serbian cultural concepts.
