Abstract

The publication contains the text of the minutes of the meeting of the Academic Council of the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus dated March 3, 1992, at which the activities of the Social and Cultural Association “Polis′se” were discussed, as well as the resolution of the Academic Council dated March 12, 1992. These documents are important for understanding the various assessments by the representatives of the Belarusian scientific community of the phenomenon of the Western Polesie ethno-political movement (the second half of the 1980s – the first half of the 1990s).
