Abstract

On November 7, 2024, after a long and serious illness, the outstanding Belarusian Slavic and Balkanist scholar, Academician of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, member of the Union of Writers of the USSR and the Republic of Belarus, professor, doctor of philological sciences Ivan Alekseevich Charota (1952–2024) passed away.
