“Am I Guilty or Not Towards Russia”. The Letter of Ukrainian Deputy of Austrian Parliament M. Petryts’kyj to M. V. Rodzyanko, the Chairman of the State Duma (1916)

Abstract

The publication includes a letter of Ukrainian politician from Galicia M. Petryts’kyj written April 18, 1916, in the prison of Vinnitsa, addressed to the Chairman of the State Duma M. V. Rodzyanko. The document complements the vision of “unreliable” Galician inhabitants’ persecution during the First World War and clarifies the attitude of Ukrainian activists from Austria-Hungary towards Russia in the same period.
