Abstract

The new book by L. M. Dems'ka-Budzuliak is devoted to the very important but not well-studied works of Ukrainian neoclassicists about literature. This extensive monograph provides a theoretical comprehension of neoclassicist academic works and also the background of modern Ukrainian studies. The author uses sociocultural approach and pays special attention on M. Zerov’ literary canon as an attempt at recording national cultural tradition.
